On-Road Diesel Mechanic

About the role

  • Provide on-road breakdown assistance for Kenworth, DAF and Isuzu vehicles across the Sydney metropolitan area, with occasional regional travel
  • Perform servicing and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles, including Kenworth, DAF, and Isuzu
  • Support onsite servicing as a qualified technician
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Service, and Parts departments
  • Conduct diagnostics, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance
  • Complete repairs and maintenance efficiently and to a high standard
  • Work independently while contributing to a friendly team environment
  • Maintain accurate service records in line with NHVR Maintenance Accreditation
  • Complete job cards, inspections, and progress videos for all work carried out

 

About you

  • Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Auto Electrician
  • Previous PACCAR and/or Isuzu experience is highly regarded
  • HR Licence (desirable)
  • Examiner’s licence (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of fatigue management
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to work both day and afternoon shift on a rotating roster. This role requires you to perform mechanical diagnosis, repairs, and servicing of a range of heavy vehicles.
